Power Training

Explosive power is increased by utilizing plyometric exercises which increase jumping and sprinting ability, aid in prevention of knee injuries, and decrease muscle contraction time. These are based largely on a series of box-jumping and bounding exercises combined with an apparatus called the Power Glide which incorporates lower body strength training and explosive power generation.

For athletes participating in our Individual Performance Training and Teammate Training programs who are developmentally ready, we also offer Olympic lifting instruction with our top of the line Eleiko equipment. By utilizing Olympic lifting techniques, athletes can truly develop amazing rates of force development (RFD), vertical jumps, and explosive speed necessitated by almost all competitive sports.
