| Free Testing
To begin at Going Vertical of Buffalo Grove, athletes start with a complimentary 1 hour initial evaluation. At the start of the program, it is crucial to evaluate an athlete's individual strengths and weaknesses in order to properly prescribe the most effective workout. Testing evaluates the following attributes: agility, body control, speed, horizontal explosiveness, vertical explosiveness, upper body strength, and lower body strength. Upon completion of a program, the athlete will be taken through the complimentary post-test consisting of the same protocols. The results will be shared with the athlete and parent(s) to show areas that have improved and ones that still need work.
Coaches: call ahead to bring your entire team in for a free 90 minute testing session including all of the previously stated testing procedures. We will then share the results with you to aid you in prescribing the best practices and game strategy for your team! |
